Areas that require treatment usually are due to volume loss, which is more noticeable around the eyes and gives a “tired” look.  Clients treated range in age from their mid-30s on and have good skin tone.  With a good skincare regimen, including a medical grade eye cream, periorbital area repair can also be addressed using the Fraxel  re:store as an adjunct therapy.

The preferred product for treating the area around the eyes is Restylane (price point at $500 to $600 for a full treatment depending on how many syringes are needed).  Usually one to two syringes will show improvement of the treated area.  Frequent assessment and input from the patient during the procedure leads to a higher level of satisfaction on the part of the patient.  You will find her advising you to avoid aspirin, non-steroidal pain medication (like Advil, Aleve, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Naprosyn, Excedrin) omega fatty acids, vitamin E and Green Tea for five days prior to your procedure.
